Maria Montagnini is a singer, songwriter and performer of folk-influenced Americana music. Solo, or with her band, Uncommon Crossroads, she creates music inspired by traditional bluegrass & roots music, blended with elements of outlaw country and early rock. Artists such as Johnny Cash, Gillian Welch, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Mumford & Sons, Green Day, CCR, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Bob Dyan, Kris Kristofferson influence her sound and style. She is frequently joined by a talented line up of musicians, featuring lead guitar, drums, banjo, or fiddle. Based out of Tucson, Arizona, she has been sharing her music throughout the Southwest since 2022.
